Section Policies
The journal is configured as a tool for dissemination, analysis and debate, which is why each collaboration must be adapted to the style that is expected of each type of contribution. In particular, the collaborations must be framed in any of the following categories:
- Studies and articles.
- Approaches and doctrine.
- Notes.
- National and comparative systems.
- Professional and outreach.
- News and book reviews.
STUDIES AND ARTICLES: contributions of academic and / or research content that are subject to peer evaluation. Extension: 7.000 – 12.000 words.

APPROACHES AND DOCTRINE: relevant articles by invited authors from the academy or professionals of recognized prestige. Minimum extension: 2.000 words. Doctrinal articles may be exempted from peer evaluation at the discretion of the Editorial Board.
NOTES: original research works of lesser extent than the contributions of the "studies and articles" section consisting of brief reports on the progress and relevant results of research and studies, comments on standards and analysis of resolutions and jurisprudence. Minimum extension: 2.000 words.

NATIONAL AND COMPARATIVE SYSTEMS: studies and notes focused on other countries or comparison of national systems. Extension: 7.000 – 12.000 words.

EXPERIENCES AND DISSEMINATION (Since June 2023 articles are not allowed for this section): articles of reduced length related to experiences, cases, proposals and reflections that are not framed in the previous sections. Extension: 1.000 - 7.000 words.

Book news: sinopsis of new books.
Book reviews: critical comments about new books.

Notes: 1. Keep in mind that the journal only publishes studies on countries or delimitations of a higher territorial scope. As an exception, analyzes of the Spanish autonomous systems are admitted and other cases that are of interest according to the criteria of the Editorial Team. 2. The comparison of web pages or case analysis on web pages is not considered a line of interest for the journal, except for reasoned and justified cases.
