This collective book is presented by the directors Ángela Moreno Bobadilla and Isabel Serrano Maíllo, and it offers an international vision of Europe and America about the necessary regulation of the protection of personal data in digital environments, typical of 21st century society.
This book is structured in two parts, the first is a compilation of how countries from America and Europe approach generally the protection of personal data, with reference to the jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights; while in the second part, specific issues related to data protection are connected, such as Artificial Intelligence, Right to be Forgotten, child protection, or treatment of health data and the limits of informative memory.
