The need “reworking of the information”
A cause of inadmissibility still in need of clarification

The purpose of this study is to provide an updated analysis of the interpretation of the independent control authorities on the cause of inadmissibility stipulated in article 18.1.c) of Law 19/2013, of December 9th, on Transparency, Access to Public Information, and Good Governance. Specifically, we propose to evaluate and judge the extent to which the interpretation established by the Transparency and Good Governance Council in its Interpretative Criterion 7/2015, based also on the doctrine of the autonomous entities, has been affected and, where appropriate, the extent and repercussions of such effects, by judgements concerning this cause of inadmissibility issued as of 2020 by the Supreme Court and the National High Court.
