Replacement of the Federal Archives Law of Mexico

The change from a federal law to a general law on Archives in Mexico represents a change in the work system and organization chart of public agencies; Its implementation requires that all agencies have a file coordinating area that organizes and controls the flow of loan documentation.
The training of those who will form the coordinating area will be vital to catalog and coordinate the documents produced as well as to decide their final destination: the historical archive or the document removal process.
The creation of an archival culture will imply the need to learn from the simplest concept to the most complex techniques in archival science in order to have access to public information and thus achieve transparency in the face of citizen requests.
