Abstract

Carlos González, has led since January 2016, the Network of Local Entities for Transparency and Citizen Participation (RELPC) created by the FEMP to help restore the confidence of citizens in the Institutions and also favor a more efficient use of the resources that contribute to building a more prosperous, equitable and just society. "Ambitious and timely objectives in democratic, inter-related and highly complex terms," he points out, although he is convinced that they are not only exclusive to the Network but are shared by the vast majority of mayors, "that we are aware of the importance of municipal policy ”.
