Abstract

Review of the book «Fundamentos de la transparencia, aspectos políticos y perspectiva internacional», Manuel Sánchez de Diego Fernández de la Riva y María Salvador Martínez (directors) and Daniel Jove Villares (coordinator), published in 2021 by the Centro de Estudios Políticos y Constitucionales (CEPC). The book is a contribution to the generation of up-to-date knowledge on the subject, in particular, to the juridical-constitutional foundation of transparency as a defining element of democratic systems from its conception as a subjective right. It also contains interesting contributions on the Spanish constitutional reality regarding transparency and, in particular, political parties. It also explores different international experiences that complete the detailed analysis of the subject of study
