The Adventure of Transparency
Keywords:
Editorial, TransparencyAbstract
When in 2006 we began the adventure of the Coalition for Access to promote a Law on Access to Public Information and Transparency in Spain, we did not know what direction our initiative would take. Today, after eight years, we already have a Transparency Law in force. It is not a good law, as it does not comply with the ten principles drawn up by the Pro Access Coalition, but at least it reflects a concern that existed in society and opens a horizon to transparency in the public sphere.
